{"id":29558,"date":"2025-03-17T15:30:38","date_gmt":"2025-03-17T14:30:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fundacionisabelgemio.com\/uncategorized\/nueva-reunion-online-del-erasmus-kits-educativos-en-el-ambito-de-las-enfermedades-raras-3"},"modified":"2025-03-17T15:34:51","modified_gmt":"2025-03-17T14:34:51","slug":"nueva-reunion-online-del-erasmus-kits-educativos-en-el-ambito-de-las-enfermedades-raras-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fundacionisabelgemio.com\/en\/actual-en\/nueva-reunion-online-del-erasmus-kits-educativos-en-el-ambito-de-las-enfermedades-raras-3","title":{"rendered":"New online meeting of the ERASMUS+ EDUCATIONAL AID KITS IN THE FIELD OF RARE DISEASES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On <strong>14th March 2025<\/strong>, the <strong>partnership <\/strong>of the Erasmus+ project <strong>EDUCATIONAL KITS IN THE FIELD OF RARE DISEASES<\/strong>, <strong>co-funded by the European Union<\/strong>, held a new online meeting to analyse and monitor the development of the results.<\/p><p>During the meeting, work continued on the progress of the <strong>intellectual outputs<\/strong> of the project, such as the <strong>methodological guide <\/strong>which will be translated into <strong>several languages<\/strong> and the <strong>educational kits<\/strong> which, in addition to being available in English and Spanish, will have a wide range of <strong>open educational resources<\/strong> aimed at the successful inclusion of students affected by rare diseases in <strong>Vocational Education and Training (VET)<\/strong>.<\/p><p>In this way, the project involves different professionals from <strong>health<\/strong>, <strong>education<\/strong>, <strong>social services<\/strong> and <strong>sport <\/strong>whose training is essential to develop specific skills to adequately respond to the needs of people affected by rare diseases. The project will also rely on a <strong>network of Rare Disease experts<\/strong> to provide advice and guidance.<\/p><p>Rare diseases represent a series of obstacles that have a profound <strong>impact <\/strong>on the lives of those affected, including delays in diagnosis, which, on average, can last up to five years. Moreover, its chronic and progressive nature has a negative impact on the mobility, autonomy and emotional and economic stability of patients and their families.<\/p><p>During the meeting, the partners continued to prepare the dissemination activities of the project.
