{"id":29157,"date":"2025-01-27T16:00:24","date_gmt":"2025-01-27T15:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fundacionisabelgemio.com\/sin-categorizar\/barcelona-acoge-la-segunda-reunion-transnacional-del-erasmus-kits-educativos-en-el-ambito-de-las-enfermedades-raras-2"},"modified":"2025-01-27T16:00:24","modified_gmt":"2025-01-27T15:00:24","slug":"barcelona-acoge-la-segunda-reunion-transnacional-del-erasmus-kits-educativos-en-el-ambito-de-las-enfermedades-raras-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fundacionisabelgemio.com\/en\/actual\/barcelona-acoge-la-segunda-reunion-transnacional-del-erasmus-kits-educativos-en-el-ambito-de-las-enfermedades-raras-2","title":{"rendered":"Barcelona hosts the second transnational meeting of ERASMUS+ EDUCATIONAL KITS IN THE FIELD OF RARE DISEASES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On <strong>24 January 2025<\/strong>, the partnership of the Erasmus+ project EDUCATIONAL KITS IN THE FIELD OF RARE DISEASES, cofunded by the European Union, held a new transnational meeting in Barcelona to examine and review the development of the work.<\/p><p>During the meeting, the first draft of the methodological guide that will be available in several languages and the educational kits aimed at achieving a correct inclusion of students affected by rare diseases in Vocational Education and Training (VET) were analyzed.<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionisabelgemio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionisabelgemio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/2-1030x1030.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-29445\" style=\"width:473px;height:auto\"\/><\/a><\/figure><p>In addition, at the meeting the partners continued to discuss the next steps to further develop the project&#8217;s results and activities.<\/p><p>After the working meeting, the partners had the opportunity to visit some of the magnificent facilities of the <strong>Hospital San Joan de D\u00e9u with Dr. Josep Serrat<\/strong>, Director of Planning and Management Support.<\/p><div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\"><div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionisabelgemio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Imagen-de-WhatsApp-2025-01-27-a-las-15.50.12_ed3b36b9.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionisabelgemio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Imagen-de-WhatsApp-2025-01-27-a-las-15.50.12_ed3b36b9-773x1030.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-29448\" style=\"width:347px;height:auto\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div><\/div><p>This was followed by a <strong>visit to the Casa de Sofia<\/strong>, led by its founder <strong>Dr. Jordi Cruz<\/strong>, the first care centre for children with complex or advanced chronic illnesses in Spain, whose main objective is to avoid hospital admission when it is not strictly necessary, delaying possible long-term hospitalisation as much as possible.
